Crazy horse leather is full-grain leather treated with hot wax and oil, using a process that gives it its oiled, matte, and deliberately rustic appearance. Its unique feature: a light waxy film on the surface which, through friction or simply by running a thumb over it, reveals lighter contrasting shades — this is the "pull-up" effect, the visual signature of this living material.
Applied to a document holder used daily, crazy horse leather develops a unique patina in just a few weeks: the corners darken, the grip areas become richer, and the creases become part of the object's character. How to choose between A5 and B5? If your tablet is an iPad mini (7.9 to 8.3 inches) and you use A5 notebooks, take the A5 size. If you have an iPad Air or iPad Pro (10.9 to 11 inches) and you use B5 notebooks, opt for the B5 size. If in doubt, measure your tablet: its largest dimension must fit in the dedicated pocket.
Crazy horse leather care: wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth — minor surface scratches are camouflaged with a simple pass of the thumb thanks to the pull-up effect. Once or twice a year, apply a non-tinted leather milk or cream to nourish the fibers and revive the patina. Avoid prolonged contact with water, direct sunlight, and heat sources.

Choose the right size: the A5 size accommodates an iPad mini (7.9 to 8.3 inches) and A5 notebooks; the B5 size accommodates an iPad Air/Pro (10.9 to 11 inches) and B5 notebooks. An iPad Air will not fit in the A5 size. Measure your device before ordering.
