Infusio Axis — the art of cigar infusion

The Infusio Axis is the infuser for the enthusiast who wants to take their tasting further. Elongated glass & stable base, 1 horizontal tube + 2 cedar stoppers + hygrometer — transform your cigars with the aromas of your choice. Custom-made tasting.

How to use a cigar infuser? Pour your liquid aroma (whiskey, cognac, coffee...) into the base reservoir of the Infusio Axis. Place your cigar in the tube — without direct contact with the liquid. Close and let it infuse for 24-72 hours depending on the desired intensity. The longer the time, the more pronounced the aroma. Taste after 24 hours and adjust.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to choose your aroma for cigar infusion?
Aromas should be chosen according to your cigar and preferences. Peated whiskey matches full-bodied cigars (Partagas, Bolivar). Cognac pairs with round and creamy cigars (Cohiba Siglo). Coffee enhances roasted notes. Lavender brings an unexpected floral dimension. Start with aromas closest to your cigar's profile.
How long should it be left to infuse?
Standard infusion lasts 24 to 72 hours depending on the desired intensity. For a slight hint: 24h. For a pronounced aroma: 48-72h. Beyond that, the cigar may become saturated. Start short and adjust to your taste.
Is the Infusio Axis compatible with all cigars?
Infusion works best with medium to large ring gauge cigars (52-64 ring gauge). Very thin cigars (Lancero, Panatela) absorb less aroma. Robusto, Toro, and Churchill are the most recommended formats for infusion.
Can you infuse with dry aromas instead of liquids?
Yes. The Infusio Axis accepts both liquid aromas, such as whiskey, cognac, or rum, and dry aromas, such as coffee beans, dried lavender, dried citrus zest, or spices. The principle remains the same: the aroma is placed in the base reservoir, and the cigar rests in the tube without direct contact with it. Dry aromas generally provide a more subtle and gradual infusion, ideal for a first experience. Just ensure you use perfectly dry and clean ingredients to avoid introducing excess humidity or the risk of mold.
What is the Infusio Axis hygrometer for?
The hygrometer allows you to monitor the humidity level inside the tube during infusion. It is a valuable indicator: liquid aromas also contribute humidity, and an overly damp cigar burns unevenly and loses balance. By monitoring the dial, you know if the atmosphere remains in a healthy zone, around 65 to 72%, or if it is becoming excessive. In that case, reduce the amount of aroma or the duration of infusion. The hygrometer thus helps you achieve a mastered infusion, reproducible time after time, and preserves the burn quality of your cigar.
How to clean the Infusio Axis between infusions?
Careful cleaning prevents flavors from mixing between infusions. Empty the reservoir, then rinse the glass parts with hot water; if necessary, use a drop of unscented dish soap, then rinse thoroughly. Let dry completely in the open air before any new use. The cedar stoppers, however, must never be washed with soap or immersed: simply wipe them with a dry cloth and let them air out. If you alternate very different aromas, allow for a longer aeration time so the cedar is cleared of previous notes.
Can you store an infused cigar with my other cigars?
We advise against it. An infused cigar retains distinct aromatic notes—whiskey, coffee, or lavender—which are easily transferred to neighboring cigars, and especially to the cedar in your humidor, which absorbs them permanently. After infusion, it is best to enjoy your cigar within the following days, or store it separately in a tube or a small container dedicated to flavored cigars. If you infuse regularly, a small dedicated humidor is the ideal solution. This preserves the aromatic identity of your main collection while allowing you to fully enjoy your creations.
