At less than 3 cm thick, the TRAVERSÉE slides easily into a backpack, briefcase, or carry-on, and can also be carried on its own by hand. So-called crazy horse leather is cowhide infused with oils and waxes, treated on the surface to achieve a slightly worn, deep, and nuanced appearance from the start. When pressed, folded, or rubbed, the oils move, causing the color to lighten locally: this is known as the pull-up effect, the signature of this type of leather.

For a laptop sleeve, this material offers a dual advantage. First, it provides flexible, dense protection against daily scratches. Second, it handles marks gracefully: a light scratch often fades with a rub of your palm, and signs of use blend into a patina that grows richer over the months. Rather than a universal sleeve that lets the computer slide from side to side, it comes in two sizes: you choose the one that fits your device, and the sleeve wraps it perfectly. Laser engraving: 1st engraving is free

Every piece in the Traveler Collection can be personalized by laser engraving, and the 1st engraving is free. Choosing and using your sleeve in four steps

Tip: new leather may feel slightly snug during initial use; it softens quickly and shapes itself to your computer. Slide the device in gently, hinge-first. To maintain distressed leather, rub small marks with your palm and apply a neutral balm for oiled leathers once or twice a year.

How do I add a logo or extra engraving?

How do I know which size to choose?

Flip your computer over: its model reference (starting with the letter A followed by four numbers) is written in small print on the bottom. Then find it in the compatibility table above: Air 13" (A1932, A2179, or A2337), Air 13.6" (A2681/A3113), and Pro 13" (A1708, A2159/A1706/A1989, A2251/A2289, or A2338) correspond to the 13" size. 14-inch Pros, with M1/M2 or M3/M4 chips (information visible in your computer's settings), correspond to the 14" size. What is the difference between Café and Oiled Brown?

Both colors are made from the same distressed-effect cowhide leather (crazy horse type) and share the exact same features. The difference is purely in the shade: Café offers a warm brown, while Oiled Brown has a deeper, richer appearance. As with all natural leather, the final look varies slightly from hide to hide and evolves with use: both shades will patina and nuance over the months. Both colors are available in both 13" and 14" sizes.

What can I store in the front pocket?

The zipped front pocket is designed for accessories that go with your laptop: charger, mouse, cables, an adapter, or a USB drive. It allows you to carry everything in one object, with no extra bag needed. On the edge, a pen loop completes the set. However, avoid storing very thick or rigid objects: they could deform the sleeve and exert pressure on the screen when the sleeve is placed in a bag. For heavier carry, a work briefcase would be more suitable.

How do I care for distressed-effect leather?

The distressed-effect cowhide leather is treated with oils and waxes: it requires little maintenance. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Small marks often fade with a rub of your palm, as the heat helps the oils migrate. Once or twice a year, apply a thin layer of colorless nourishing balm for oiled leathers, after testing it on an inconspicuous area. If the sleeve gets wet, remove the computer and let it dry open, in the open air, away from a radiator. Avoid solvents and household wipes.

Are the computer and accessories included?

No. The TRAVERSÉE Voyageur sleeve is sold on its own: the computer, charger, mouse, and pen shown in the photos are for illustrative purposes only and are not included. You will receive the distressed-effect cowhide leather sleeve, in the chosen color and size, with its zippered front pocket, side handle, and pen loop.
