Yes. Like all pieces in the Voyageur Collection, the ASCOT tie case includes a free first laser engraving, in both the 1-tie and 2-tie versions. You can include initials, a first name, a date, or a short motto. On an item of this size, a short text remains the most elegant. The laser marks the nubuck leather with precision; the engraving then develops a patina along with the case. If you are unsure about the wording, for example for a gift for witnesses, our customer service team will advise you before production.

The first engraving is free. To go further, go to the "Engraving Options" box, just below the add-to-cart button, and select the desired option: "Add my logo" (€14.90 per item) to engrave a company, club, or event logo, or "Add an additional text area" (€5.90 per item) for a second text. The option is automatically added to the cart, one per ordered item. For a logo, we will ask you for the file by email after you place your order: preferably use a vector file or a high-definition image that is simple and has high contrast for a sharp result. An ideal solution for corporate gifts.

The 2-tie version is suitable for multi-day trips, business trips where you alternate between meetings and dinners, or for those who like to have a choice when getting dressed. It measures 19.5 × 8 × 8 cm and weighs 206 g, with two 83 mm compartments. The 1-tie version, which is shorter, is designed for a return trip, a formal evening, or a wedding: it takes up even less space in your luggage. The manufacturer does not provide its exact dimensions. Both versions share the same leather, closure, and free engraving.

The ASCOT accommodates ties from 6.6 to 8 cm wide, which means the vast majority of classic ties, whether made of silk or fine fabrics. They are stored rolled, one per compartment. Very slim ties (slim style) also have their place here, with a slightly tighter roll. Very thick models, made of heavy wool or bulky knitwear, may require a looser roll and may not fit two to a compartment. A flat bow tie or a folded pocket square can also fit into a compartment in place of a tie.

A folded tie is subjected to concentrated pressure along the fold line, especially at the bottom of a suitcase where other items crush it. The silk can then retain a lasting mark that is difficult to remove without ironing, and ironing a tie is delicate. When rolled, it distributes the tension along its entire length instead: no crease forms, and the silk relaxes naturally during the journey. The cylindrical case protects this roll from being crushed. Upon arrival, simply unroll the tie and hang it up for a few minutes before tying it.

The flap closes with a brass "fish eye" magnetic button, which is practical and discreet. Like any magnet, it requires a few simple precautions. People with a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator should avoid keeping the case against their chest, for example in an inner jacket pocket. Also avoid placing it directly against magnetic stripe cards or a mechanical watch, which is sensitive to magnetism. In a suitcase or travel bag, kept away from these items, the case can be used with complete peace of mind.

No. The Voyageur ASCOT is sold alone: the ties shown in the photos are used solely for illustration and are not included. You will receive the cylindrical case in oiled nubuck cowhide, in the capacity you chose (1 or 2 ties), with its flap cover and magnetic brass button. It can then be engraved with your initials thanks to the free first engraving. For a complete gift, you can carefully choose and slip a tie into it yourself, ready to be given in its leather case.
