Carved Spanish cedar — preservation and identity: its hygroscopic properties naturally regulate humidity around your cigars. Its terpenes foster the development of aromas in your Cuban and Dominican cigars over time as they age. The ancient civilization-inspired engraved pattern turns every surface into a handcrafted work of art — active preservation and aesthetic uniqueness combined.

Refilling the gel humidifier: Add 60 to 80 ml of distilled water to the gel tank, let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes before placing it back in the humidor. Never use tap water. Keep the digital hygrometer between 65% and 72% — the °C or °F display allows for precise real-time control without opening the humidor.

Combination lock — important to remember: Note your combination in a safe place as soon as you set it up — a forgotten combination requires intervention on the mechanism. The lock is easily adjusted in 3 steps according to the provided instructions. Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Vault Indio combination lock work?
The combination lock is configured in 3 simple steps according to the provided instructions — you choose your own access code. Once set, only that code allows for opening. Be sure to note your combination in a safe place separate from the humidor — a forgotten combination requires professional intervention on the mechanism. The lock is customizable and can be changed at any time.
What is the difference between Ebony Seal and Amber Root?
Both colors offer exactly the same features — same cedar, same lock, same hygrometer, same humidifier. Ebony Seal (dark wood, silver latch) suits contemporary and dark interiors. Amber Root (light wood, gold latch) is warmer and more traditional — its natural tones evoke the world of fine woodwork. Choose according to the recipient's style or your interior design.
How do I refill the gel humidifier?
Add 60 to 80 ml of distilled water to the gel tank. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes so the gel can absorb the water. Drain any excess if necessary and place it back in the humidor. Never use tap water, as it calcifies the gel. Refill as soon as the digital hygrometer drops below 65% — maintain between 65% and 72% for optimal preservation.
Are the accessories visible in the photos included?
No — the accessories visible in the photos (cigar cutter, lighter) are for demonstration purposes only and are not part of the set. The Vault Indio includes only the digital hygrometer, the refillable gel humidifier, the removable divider, and the accessory drawer. Find our cigar cutters and lighters in the dedicated Atelier Atypique collections.
Is the Vault Indio a good gift for a cigar collector?
Yes — unique combination lock, ancient-inspired engraving, Spanish cedar, glass lid, digital hygrometer, gel humidifier, divider, and drawer. Two color options to suit the recipient's style. For a collector concerned about protecting their Cohiba, Montecristo, or Romeo y Julieta, the Vault Indio offers rare security in a compact and elegant format.
